You Must Get Your Visa in Advance
Based on the rules and regulations of Iran ministry of foreign affairs, American, British and Canadian nationals must get their visas before travelling to Iran.
It is also required to have a confirmed itinerary, book their tour and hire an authorized tour guide for their Iran trip. This visa has 90 days validity and the applicant can stay in Iran for maximally 30 days.
The needed time for visa process is around 25 to 30 working days and the necessary documents are as follow:

- A scan of your Passport with at least 6 months validity
- A scan of your photo
- Your CV
- Detailed Itinerary
